Cardlab Biometric Card
Most of us probably carry anywhere between 3 and 10 plastic cards in our wallet; credit cards, debit cards, ID cards, library cards etc, and they all have various information printed or embossed depending on what kind of cards they are.
What we may not always be aware of is all the information – and some of it quite personal - that is stored on the card, but hidden from view.

The magnetic stripe on the back of our cards has a story to tell – a story about us. And it will tell it indiscriminately to anyone with just a minimum of electronics knowledge and readily available equipment.

Loose a card or have it stolen – and a lot of personal data becomes available to persons never intended and for purposes we never dreamt of.

Technology
This belief is the foundation of our development of the very first ISO 7810 compliant biometric credit card with dynamic magnetic stripe:
Only when the card owner activates the card with his/her fingerprint, will the card's dynamic magnetic stripe release the sensitive data.
This virtually rules out the possibility of the card being used by any other that the owner.
The card is conveniently turned on by a light flick or tap activating the Snapswitch , and lights will indicate when the card is ready to be used.

Cardlab Biometric Card requires no changes to the existing infrastructure but can be used immediately in any terminal anywhere in the world, furthermore the fingerprint and all other sensitive information is stored on the card only, which means it requires no registration of fingerprints in central databases.
